You are invited by the youth of St. Thomas to join us for our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper! We will be serving all kinds of pancakes along with sausage and all the fixings! Gluten free pancakes will be available as well. Suggested donation is $6 per person/$25 per family of 5+.
**All proceeds benefit the St. Thomas Youth Mission Trip to CHICAGO!**

Business Meeting starts at 7 pm
Childcare will be offered in the Nursery for birth through age 3—7-8:30 pm.

Annual Hayride & Hot Dog Roast November 3
As Fall begins and Summer Ends… make time to celebrate with all your St. Thomas Friends!
Join us for the Annual St. Thomas HAYRIDE & HOT DOG ROAST at Sharp’s Farm in Bucyrus, KS. Sunday, November 11 from 5 to 8 pm.
Sign up online (Hayride) to join us for this year’s hayride & hot dog roast! We’ll enjoy food, fellowship and fun from 5-8pm with our hayride scheduled at 6:30. Cost is $8 or $30 per family of 4 or more, and can be given to Barbara McCall by cash or check (payable to St. Thomas Church) or by credit card at the event. Bring a friend!
*Hot Dogs and ingredients for S’mores will be provided. Please feel free to bring along a simple side to share!

Sign up with the link provided in your weekly Email Update or on the display board in the Narthex. **Signing up ahead of time helps us to know if we can offer TWO hayride times (which means an earlier option for those who wish to get home earlier in the evening).**
Trunk or Treat and BBQ Cook-Off Coming Soon!
Sunday, October 27 from 5-7 pm
Bring out the costumes & candy bags…join us in the St. Thomas Parking Lot for your first round of loot at our annual Trunk or Treat! This free event is open to EVERYONE (so bring friends & neighbors)!
Then, after you’ve worked up an appetite…join us in the Parish Hall for some dinner, games and more treats at our FIRST ANNUAL BBQ Cook-Off in the Parish Hall!! Cost is $5/person or $20/family. All are welcome!!
This year instead of a chili contest, we invite everyone who loves to BBQ to enter our Cook-Off ! Maybe you love to smoke ribs or brisket or have the best smoked sausage recipe. You will use your cooker at home to smoke the meat, then bring to the Cook-Off.
There is a signup on the display board in the narthex or sign up here: BBQ COOK-OFF. And yes, there will be prizes! If you have questions contact Mother Kelly.
Proceeds going to our Youth Group Fund for their various outreach projects, diocesan events and activities throughout the year.
Invite/Welcome/Connect Ministry Fair October 26 & 27
Plan to visit our Invite/Welcome/Connect Ministry Fair before & after services this weekend. St. Thomas will feature the different ministries offered and how YOU can find a ministry that fits your time and talents. Make sure to stop by, learn more and get connected. When you sign up, you get a raffle ticket. Write your name on the back for a chance to win a great prize!
August 18th: Blessing of the Backpacks and “Homecoming” Sunday
Got Pencils? Check. Notebooks? Check. Blessing of the Lord Almighty on the tools you need for the year?
Join us on the first Sunday after school starts for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks andcelebration as we welcome all of our families back from their summer adventures! Come stock up on holiness at our Sunday services as we take a moment to give thanks for the gifts that let our minds grow and our knowledge increase, and offer a blessing on the things that help our students pursue their education, and a blessing for those who teach.
Students of ALL AGES and Educators (nursery school/preschool through graduate school, tech school, etc.) are welcome to bring their bags/backpacks and come forward for a special blessing during each of the Sunday Services on August 18.
After each service we will enjoy a potluck of your favorite summer dishes, and our annual WATER SLIDE for the kids! So don’t forget your swim gear! 🙂
