Throughout the year, we hold special services to honor the role God plays in our life together. Here you will find information about services for Christmas and Easter, as well as other occasions such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Veterans’ Day.
Christmas Services
You are welcome to celebrate Christmas with us! We will have services with Holy Communion on December 24 at 10:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. (with Children’s Nativity Musical), and 8:00 p.m. (with Choral Worship).
Ash Wednesday Service
We will have Ash Wednesday services at 7 a.m., noon, 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. The 6 p.m. “Family Ash Wednesday Worship” invites children and youth into worship ministry roles and offers a time to explore and wonder together about the traditions of Ash Wednesday, Lent, and our special journey to the Mystery of Easter.
Holy Week Services
St. Thomas will offer special services during Holy Week, including Maundy Thursday evening Eucharist with footwashing at 7:00; Stations of the Cross Friday at noon; a Good Friday liturgy at 7:00 p.m.; and the Easter Vigil service on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Easter Services
Looking for a place to celebrate Easter? Join us at St. Thomas this year! We will have a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., which will be held outdoors (weather permitting). We will also celebrate with services at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Our 8:45 service uses both praise band music and traditional hymns, while our 11:00 service offers traditional hymns and more traditional musical offerings. You are welcome to be with us for the Feast of Christ’s Resurrection!
