St. Thomas Immigration Ministries aims to support immigrants by providing essential resources and services. Starting four years ago, the ministry offered donations and accompaniment to asylum-seeking families and later organized a mission trip to assist newly-arrived immigrants in San Antonio. Currently, the ministry focuses on supporting several families with rent, utilities, and providing household items, cultural orientation, and various forms of assistance to help them achieve self-sufficiency. Additional focus will be on financial literacy and English language learning to further empower the families.
