Palm Sunday Weekend – March 23 & 24
Services on Saturday at 5:30 pm
Sunday at 8:15 and 11:00 am
The congregation will assemble outside the church to start the liturgy. Palm fronds will be distributed. We gather to recall Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with the procession of palms, and the story of Christ’s passion and death will be read, as told in Mark’s gospel, followed by a prayer service.
Palm Sunday Evening “Soup & Stations”
5-7pm in Parish Halls 1 and 2
Please join us for our 2nd Annual Palm Sunday Agape Soup Supper and Walk Through Holy Week Stations. This intergenerational event allows us to share a meal together as we celebrate the ultimate gift of love we have in Jesus and to remember his final journey through Jerusalem as we prepare to greet the Mystery and Miracle of Easter! Maundy Thursday – March 28, 7:00 pm
Holy Communion, Foot Washing, Stripping of the Altar
This marks the Last Supper, Jesus’s gift to us of the Eucharist and Jesus’s servant leadership by washing the feet of his friends. We will pray and witness the stripping of the altar. All ages welcome. Nursery and Children’s Chapel will be available.

Good Friday Solemn Liturgy – 7:00 pm
The service at 7:00 includes the reading of the passion according to John, familiar hymns, customary prayers for the day and veneration of the cross of Christ.
Great Vigil of Easter – March 30
Holy Communion at 5:30 pm
Easter Sunday – March 31
6:30am – Sunrise service with Holy Communion (in The Apostle’s Garden)
8:45 and 11:00 am – Holy Communion
The Nursery and Children’s Chapel will be available during the 8:45 and 11:00 services. No Christian Formation classes.

Join us for an Ash Wednesday Service as we prayerfully enter into the season of Lent.

7am, Noon – Imposition of Ashes
6:00 pm – Family Liturgy and Imposition of Ashes – in the Parish Hall
7:00 pm – Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion
All services will include the imposition of ashes on the forehead, the “Litany of Penitence” (or list of things to repent of), and the liturgical invitation in the themes of a holy Lent.
Family Liturgy at 6:00 pm: All are welcome to join in this special service that offers a liturgy and teachings that are easily accessible to our younger Episcopalians or those newer to the traditions of Ash Wednesday and the Lenten Season. Along with opportunities for children and youth to engage in our worship ministries and simple melodies familiar from our Godly Play Circles, Children’s Chapel, and Mega Camp we will walk together as we begin the Journey to Jerusalem this Lent.

A Service of Lessons & Carols
Sunday, December 17, during the 11:00 AM service
In this service you’ll hear six scripture lessons followed by a special anthem, solo, or duet, plus lots of congregational Advent hymns to sing along with. Please join us!
The traditional service of lessons and carols began in England in 1918 at King’s College, Cambridge. The Christmas Eve tradition of A Festival of Lessons and Carols continues there to this day, and has been widely adopted and adapted by other Christian denominations for almost a century.

The famous St. Thomas Christmas Cookie/Bake Sale is just around the corner and we need your help! This is one of the major fundraisers for the summer youth program and there are several ways you can participate:
- Please come and buy goodies at the sale! We look forward to selling lots and lots of wonderful, yummy Cookies and baked goods!
- We need bakers to make LOTS of HEAVY cookies and goodies- decorated cookies, “Special” cookies, chocolate chip, bar cookies, sugar & spice and everything … Scrumptious! Candies and pies are also welcome. (Heavy because we sell by the pound.) We need items with nuts, without nuts, with gluten, gluten free… you name it! You do not need to bring them in fancy containers or anything since we sell in bulk. BAKE COOKIES

Ministry Fair – November 11 & 12
This stewardship season is a great time to check out all the ministries offered at St. Thomas and how you can get involved to help serve. After each service on November 11th & 12th, stop by the Parish Hall to see all the ministries on display.
There will be signup sheets available to join a ministry or get more info and if you are already involved in a ministry, be sure to sign up again. We will have a raffle for a few prizes for those who sign up at the fair.
If you are a leader, please contact Jean Adam 913-530-9097 or or fill out the Google form you should have received via email so we will know if you need a table for your ministry.
