The American Red Cross is coming back to St. Thomas for a blood drive on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. Donors can sign up to give blood or a double red blood cell donation. Blood donations take about 1 hour and double red blood cell donations take about 30 minutes longer due to the process but the red cells are the most frequently used blood component needed.
Remember to eat healthy with foods high in iron, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and bring a photo + ID.
