During the Good Friday evening service, we commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on the cross to atone for the sins of the world. The service includes a Passion Reading, the Solemn Collects (prayers for the salvation of the world), and worship and reflection centered on Jesus’ atoning death. There is no communion.
