Comfort and Love for those who mourn

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  Mt 5:4

For many years, St. Thomas had a tradition of offering hospitality and refreshments following celebration of life services.  It’s a special way for parishioners to comfort St. Thomas’ friends and families and occasionally other people in our community. We know we are reaching out to others as Christ called us to do.

When there will be a reception the St. Thomas Office emails or sends out phone messages to all parishioners asking for volunteers to help with the reception or people who can provide cookies or food for the reception. Everyone is welcome to be part of this ministry and can respond to the message.

We will be able to offer compassion, love and support through our hospitality and friendship.
