Minjun Lee Piano Concert

December 9, 2025 By Lauren Cassat

Join us on Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. for a concert by pianist and composer Minjun Lee.

Freewill donations support the St. Thomas music programs.

Minjun Lee is a distinguished film composer based in the U.S., whose evocative scores blend technical sophistication with profound emotional resonance.

An alumnus of the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), where he earned a degree in music composition, Minjun has rapidly established himself as a multi-award-winning composer in the competitive world of film scoring. His compositions have garnered recognition in numerous prestigious competitions, underscoring his talent for crafting memorable cinematic soundscapes.

Beyond the screen, Minjun remains deeply committed to the art of live performance and community engagement. He currently lends his musical gifts as a church pianist, serving Saint Thomas Episcopal Church on Saturdays and Central Korean Global Methodist Church on Fridays and Sundays.

Minjun’s musical philosophy centers on authenticity and connection. He strives to create music that is both honest in its emotion and universally enjoyable, aiming for scores that not only enhance the narrative but also foster a shared, lasting impression among a diverse audience.
