EPISCOPAL SUMMER “MEGA CAMP”
(Sleep Away): June 1-7, 2025
Join friends from across the dioceses of Kansas, Western Kansas and West Missouri for a week of faith and fun in the sun in the BEAUTIFUL Kansas Flint Hills! Days are filled with worship, wonder, and classic camp activities (swimming, fishing, games, crafts, music, horses, climbing towers, giant swings and MORE!) as we explore God’s work and love in our lives! Camp takes place at Camp Wood YMCA in Elmdale, Kansas and is staffed by a full slate of trained adults from both the Episcopal Church and YMCA.

“Reaching Out to the Community” Camps
Our “classic” outreach focused day camps, our “R.O.T.C.” Camps take students out to serve in the greater KC area while also making time for community building and fun among our younger youth. Outreach activities include work at places like Harvesters, KC Pet Project, Cross-Lines, Scraps KC, KC Giving Gardens, The Sewing Labs and more! Afternoon fun spots include bowling, skating, swimming, arcades, outdoor adventure parks, etc! Cost includes transportation, staffing, daily snack, fun spot admission for each day and our end of week LUNCH and PARTY on Friday! (Cost = $200 thru May 31; $225 on June 1 and beyond)

June 9 – 13 from 9am-4pm (arrival begins at 8am daily)

for rising 9th Graders – College Freshmen
June 16-20 *OVERNIGHTS*
Our High School students spend a week of work offering a “Mobile Vacation Bible Camp” to the children of Southeast Kansas through our partnership with Rev. Martha Lamoy and the congregation of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Independence, Kansas. Students will work as a team to act as mentors to the children while guiding them through bible stories, crafts, games and music. Training on program delivery and safe interactions while working with children will be provided during our time together at St. Thomas on Monday before leaving for Independence that afternoon. We will return around Noon on Friday.
“ROAD TRIP” – Vacation Bible Camp Style!
*Evenings* Sunday, June 22 – Thursday, June 26 (includes dinner!)
Ages pre-school through exiting 5th graders
Cost: Free-will Donation
JOIN US for 5 evenings of Summer Faith & Fun at our Road Trip themed VACATION BIBLE CAMP! We’ll cruise our way through bibles stories with some of our favorite characters, belting out sing-along-songs all along the way! Who says Road Trips are boring when you’ve got crafts, STEM activities and games to keep you busy?!?! And…DON’T FORGET…Thursday Night is FAMILY NIGHT! Bring the whole family to share our closing worship, followed by a picnic dinner and fun on the church lawn to close out our time together!

ARTS CAMP 2025: “Once Upon a Lilypad”
July 28-31 from 9am to 3pm
**Special “Showcase” performance for family & friends on Friday, July 31 at 3pm**
Ages: Rising Kindergartners – 6th Graders
Cost: $200
Join Ms. Julieanne, Ms. Barbara and pros from across Kansas City to explore your creative side through classes on creative movement, music, drama, visual and culinary arts, all while working together as a team to produce an amazing Art Gallery, Reception and SHOW for our friends and family to enjoy at the end of the week!
