Choir Rehearsals to start soon

Adult Choir rehearsals will begin Wednesday, August 23.

Praise Band 6:30-7:15 pm
Traditional 7:30-8:15 pm

Children’s Choir will begin on September 13, 5-6 pm

Contact Beth Elswick, Director of Music, if you would like to join one of the choirs.  Basic musical literacy is recommended.

Sunday, August 20: Blessing of Backpacks & Children/Youth Ministry Fair

Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks/bookbags/satchels/laptop case to church on August 20 to be blessed during the 8:45 or 10:45 am service + they will receive a small gift from the St. Thomas family. 

Children & YouthDuring the coffee hours after each service, we’ll hold our second annual Children/Youth Ministry Fair!  This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about all the things you can do as a young member of St. Thomas to explore and practice your faith!  Special booths will be set up in the Parish Hall to share information and allow you your first opportunity of the year to sign up for any of the following:

  • Acolytes (grades 3 and up)
  • Children’s Choir (grades 1 and up)
  • Jr. Ushers Ministry (grades K and up)
  • Our 2016-17 year of Sunday School
  • Youth Group
  • Taste of Youth Group
  • Nursery

After the services we will also have a cookout with potluck sides and desserts, and a WATER SLIDE!!

Reflections from April 13th

St Thomas held a vigil service for our community on the evening of April 13th, 2014, after a shooter targeting Jewish centers killed at least three people and injured others. Below are several reflections about how we respond as a community to this tragedy.
